ABOUT US

Dr Eddie Egesi leads a high-tech, state of the art practice. Established in 1990, Bona Dental Clinic is located in the central business district of two major cities in Nigeria; Trans Amadi, Portharcourt, and Victoria Island, Lagos. A graduate of the prestigious College of Medicine- University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Dr. Egesi has had further training in Implant and Restorative Dentistry in the UK, United States and Canada and has special skills in full mouth reconstruction.

As a community leader, Eddie is Past President of the Rotary Club of Port-Harcourt, a Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor of the Rotary Foundation. He was also Captain of the golf section of Port-Harcourt Club.

Professionally, he is Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. (iCOI). More recently, he received certification in Healthcare Finance, Economics & Risk from Doane University. He leads a team of very dedicated faculty and staff who share his vision of excellence in dentistry.

Among his publications is - Management of fully edentulous mandible using implant supported over dentures (Nigeria journal of medicine vol 24, No. 1)

Dental Implants

These are procedures use to treat and preserve teeth with badly infected pulp. The infected pulp removed and tooth is restored with a filling and crown to give a natural appearance and also restore normal function.

At Bona dental clinic, we use the world class sirona 2D/3D Orthophos SL CT scan X-ray device which produces incredibly Sharp 2D panoramic images with its DCS (Direct conversion sensor) and sharp layer technology to full 3D volume flexibility due to its selectable fields of views.
